His journalistic pieces have been published by American Public Media, The Poynter Institute, Huffington Post, Truthout, Alternet, The Guardian UK, Presente, Operamundi (Brazil), Expressbuzz (India) and Independent World Report among others. He was a Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University 2010-11 and currently teaches the Stanford Graphic Novel Project.
